his undergraduate degree (studying near us at the University of Massahusetts for a semester).
He recently completed a
doctorate (computer science) and married Anna. Shown from left

Here is Dasha again. She is my friend as well as
Elizabeth's and Anne's (my wife). It was great to see her during my
visit.

Here are Maria (mom), Lyolya and Natasha. Maria is a believer and has
been a partner in ministry. Natasha has interpreted for the Karavella
team for several years.

Masha Mikhaylova is a great friend and ministry partner. She works as the
St. Petersburg representative for ACSI student missions. As you can
see, she is fun loving and enjoys making a fashion statement. We have
many good memories of times with her.

Here are Valentina (mom) and Victoria with
Elizabeth and me. Anne met Victoria on the beach at Karavella in 1996,
and our families have been friends since. Elizabeth and Victoria have
years of piano training in common .

We met the
Ali family at camp as well. I lose track, but I think there are seven
siblings, with a Russian mother and Moroccan father. Lena (L) is the
oldest, and had to assume care of the family when their mother died over
five years ago. These women have done remarkably well considering
their circumstances. Vika (center) and Sveta are students.
